the benefice
Our Chuch is part of the Benefice of Wormingford, Mount Bures and Little Horkesley, three villages at the very northern edge of the county of Essex bordering the River Stour.
Much of the Benefice is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and in a Conservation Area.
We are part of the Church of England Diocese of Chelmsford, in the Deanery of Colchester and are within a grouping called the North Colchester Family of Churches.
Our mission is to continue the ministry of Jesus with the message of Jesus in the manner of Jesus
